The Medicine Chest dispenses the newest advances in dermatological medication. Specialized medicines are available here weeks or months before many pharmacies in Hawaii have them.

The Medicine Chest stocks creams, ointments, solutions, pills, capsules and soaps used in dermatology, as well as plastic gloves and boots, and many "over-the-counter" or non-prescription products used for skin treatments.

The Medicine Chest does not stock narcotics nor drugs controlled by the Drug Enforcement Administration.

An important part of our service is education. The Medicine Chest provides information on why a medication works, how to use it for its best effect, and any possible side-effects and drug incompatibilities. Research, conducted in our office and laboratories, is helping pharmaceutical companies throughout the world develop more effective, and more economical, medication for skin diseases.

Please pay for your medication when you receive it. You may charge your medication, if this is more convenient for you, with VISA or MasterCard. If your insurance plan covers medication, please tell us so that we can have the appropriate forms filed for you.

In order to keep the cost of prescription drugs down, we charge our cost, plus a small processing fee. Our over-the-counter products are usually competitive with other small pharmacies and offices.
